Employee Benefit Plans

Pugh CPAs has a team of professionals that are dedicated to our Employee Benefit Plans Niche.  As a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, our firm has made a commitment to providing the highest quality services to our clients. We have extensive experience and continuous training for our team that will enable us to understand the reporting requirements that you face which in turn allows us to help you with the process. With ever-changing regulations from DOL and ERISA and the complexity of the reporting requirements, we know the importance of staying on top of the benefit plan industry and can be there to be your adviser.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, one of the most common reasons for deficient auditors’ reports is the failure of the auditor to perform tests in areas unique to Employee Benefit Plans (EBP).  The more training and experience that an auditor has with EBP audits, the more familiar they will be with benefit plan practices and operations as well as the special auditing standards and rules that apply to such plans.
