Update for clients and friends of Pugh CPAs:
*Update 5/10/21* Our priority is the health and safety of our staff as well as our clients. We will continue to follow the recommendations set forth by the CDC, which means we are practicing social distancing, wearing masks (when away from our desks), wiping down commonly touched surfaces and asking team members to stay at home if they aren’t feeling well and healthy. What does this mean for you? Our building is as safe as it can be but we do ask clients to please wear a mask when entering our building. We’re slowly getting back to business as normal. In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to have an appointment with your tax advisor before coming to our location. Some people are choosing to work remotely a few days a week so having an appointment ensures your advisor will be here and available to meet with you. We are also easily accessible by phone, email and video chat. Please know that we are working continuously to provide you with the same level of service you’ve come to expect from us.
We do have a new resources page we hope clients enjoy. We are leveraging our alliance with RSM US, LLP and sharing their content on our website. They have a team dedicated to producing timely, important content and we don’t want you to miss out. Please feel free to bookmark that page and come back often to check out the latest articles.
Access our new RESOURCES page for the latest news and regulations affecting your business.
Please contact your Pugh CPAs advisor BEFORE you take any action.
Guidelines for Onsite Meetings
At Pugh CPAs our priority is the health and safety of our staff and our clients. Thank you to everyone who has been willing to meet with us over the phone or on a video chat. This pandemic is not over, so we will continue to take additional precautions as we meet with you. If you need to drop off your documents, please do so inside our 1st floor reception area (this is our “newly renovated” main entrance). As noted above, our lobby is open for you to drop off materials; however, all in-person meetings must be scheduled in advance so that an appropriately sized meeting space can be reserved. On the day of your appointment, you will need to be symptom and fever free and please plan to wear a mask during your meeting.
- Beverages will not be offered but you are welcome to bring your own coffee or water.
- If you are here ONLY to sign, you can do so at our front desk and ask our receptionist for assistance.
- If you have a scheduled meeting, you will be escorted to the meeting space and your advisor(s) will meet you there. Again, we respectfully ask that everyone in your party wear a facial covering.
- Our meeting spaces will be sanitized AFTER each meeting.
To keep our staff and clients safe, we are following the guidance of the CDC as well as the Knox County Health Department for safe workplaces. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding.
